Little about Self

Well, I have my two precious little boys. Blake is 4 and Hunter is now 7 months. I just can't believe how time really does fly by. This time last year I was pregnant and seemed to be moving in slow speed now it's moving like lighting! I'm so blessed in more ways than one. I have a wonderful husband Brian of 8 years now, wow! And I have a wonderful family, on both sides!! We are going through a tough time right now, Brian became ill last year with problems in his nerves. It began in his right hand and moved up his arm, then to his left side. Now he is very weak in his legs. There is so much information I don't even know if I can write it all. Long story short, he was put through every test you can imagine possible. The doctors are still unsure what he has, but the diagnosis they lean more toward is PMA (Progressive Muscular Atrophy). If anyone has ever heard of ALS (Lou Gherig's) then you'll have an idea of what it is. It's in the family of ALS, which there is no cure for. UGH, let me just say, it has been the most difficult year in my life since November of 2007. Here I was pregnant with a 3 year old and they are telling me and Brian this horrific news. He has such a strong spirit and he has been really good through all of this. I've held up okay too, I have to with my boys! We are so sure that God is going to heal Brian and we have a very strong faith. We are just waiting on that glorious day! In the mean time though, day to day is very strenuous. Brian is doing a new treatment now, kind of a last resort, and it's a very strict regimen to follow. So he needs round the clock care, I work part time, so when I'm not home either his mom is there for him and the boys or my mom. Man, we are so blessed for our families!! So for now, we just keep moving on and try and make things as normal as possible. Stay tuned, I'm going to try and keep every one up to date as possible
